What is the main function of the relay

The relay is an electrical control device, which is an electrical device that causes a predetermined gradual change in the electrical output circuit when the input quantity meets specific requirements. It has an interaction between the control system (also called the input loop) and the backup system (also called the output loop). It is usually an automatic control circuit, in fact an "automatic switch", which uses a small current to control a large current operation.
